Biography:
Bizarro is a flawed duplicate of Superman existing within the DC Universe. He is characterized by his childlike intellect and tendency to do the opposite of what is expected, often with destructive results.
Bizarro's first appearance was in Superboy #68 (1958) and his origin is often tied to Lex Luthor's attempts to replicate Superman, or through other scientific mishaps involving duplication technology.
He exhibits powers similar to Superman, but with distorted and often reverse versions, such as freeze vision instead of heat vision. Bizarro is frequently associated with Bizarro World, a cube-shaped planet populated by Bizarro versions of other DC characters.
